[blonde cheerleader voice] Oh. My. Gawd. I finally have my scooter. OhmyGOSH! It's blue and I think it's awesome and I love it and I rode it and I rode it![/blonde]

Alright. Enough of that. Well it looks like I finally have my scooter. Hopefully it'll be permanent, and here's the reason why: I haven't paid for it. Allow me to expound:

I've been working with this dealership for about 3.5 weeks now. I ordered disc brakes on the bike because I wanted it to be safer than the drum brakes, and I was told it would take 10 days. Alright, I thought, 10 working days. Fine. 10 days passed. I called them again. 'Hi do you have the Blaze with the disc brakes yet?' 'No sir, it will be 10 days.' I became highly irate. 'You said that 10 days ago...' 'Yes sir it will be 10 days.' 'No I just said that--- ARGH.. forget it.'

I called yesterday and said, "You know what? Just get me the drum brakes. Yes. Don't worry about the disc. And yes I'd like the blue one. But guess what- if you can't do blue- that's FINE-- I'll do RED because you have 70 of them parked right here." I was met again with, "Oh right sir, yes sir, no problem sir."

TODAY I called an hour before I'm to show up and I say, "Is everything in order?" "Yes sir just come sir no problem sir." I show up at the prescribed time (5:30) and expect to have something else go wrong.

I was right.

"Okay sir, you filled out the loan details, right? Everything is done?"
"No, that's why I'm here- we were supposed to do all that today."
"Oh," and he gave one of those pensive stares going to nowhere. "Let me get the paperwork." I know immediately that he has no paperwork.

Basically the loan guy never got back to him because they were jacking around doing... oh... nothing.

After a lot of 'discussion' (to put it lightly) I gave them the ultimatum: "You give me this bike tonight, and you figure out the paperwork and whatever on your own time, OR you lose a customer tonight and you never see me again."

I got the bike.
