"I..I totally didn't expect this. It was just an honor being considered (/nominated)...I guess I should start by thanking Chasity, my karaoke lady at O'Connell's Pub in Norman, Oklahoma..."

What the hell is he talking about, is probably what you're thinking. So I don't know if I mentioned that there was a karaoke contest here in Bangalore..I performed a bunch of songs, but the last night of the competition, I sang You Ain't Nothin But A Hound Dog by Elvis.

I'm now in the semi-finals!!! WHOA. I shouldn't be this surprised/shocked. Not because I'm amazing or anything, but considering what I've been doing for the past month or so (not much..), this is as exciting as being nominated for an Oscar. Hence my speech at the beginning.

I'll be performing Without Me by Eminem this Wednesday and I hope i'll make it to the finals. I doubt it considering I'm the only one doing rap, the crowd is decidedly pro-rock, and some of the others have pretty strong voices. Rap doesn't exactly need a strong voice- just a lot of energy if you're doing karaoke.

So I guess I'll have to perform really hard and knock their pants off. I'll post the results as soon as I get them (probably next Sunday).

Peas.

Boy howdy has it been a bit since I've posted. Unfortunately, I don't think it's gonna get any better for a little while. Not because I've become unreasonably busy, but because there's NOTHING going on worth telling. Weekend...slept.

Alright one thing- I'm addicted to Lost. Completely. I never really watched it when I was back home, but since I downloaded Season 1 when I was there, I've been watching it like mad over here. I watched 5 of those that I downloaded back at home, and then in the past week, Apsi and I have watched 15 or so of them. Insane. 15, people. Do you realize how much time we wasted? But considering the caliber of acting and writing on the show, I guess you could hardly call it wasted time.

Anyway, now for the last episode of the first season. Gonna watch that, and then prolly hit the sack. G'night.
