I'm absolutely exhausted. I had a rehearsal for a play in January from 2-5 or so, then from 6:30 to 9:30/10ish I had rehearsal for the concert that's coming up this Wednesday. Yep, this Wednesday. I've got.. lemme count this.. 1 solo (Luck Be A Lady Tonight), 1 Duet (Suddenly Seymour), then the following group songs: I'll Be There for You, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Rhythm of Life and a small bit of Eminem. I'm not worried at all about Seymour or the Eminem. But the others, there's still stuff to be DONE. I'm talking like, me memorizing words or harmonies. And Bohemian is the sketchiest because I'm uncertain of the lyrics AND the bajillion different harmonies that we've got going between the groups. :: SIGH::
On top of that, I went to Chennai(/Madras) on Friday and came back on Friday night. Jo and I took a train and..blah. I hate trains in India. I've never been on trains in America (other than the subway in NYC) but as far as I know now, trains and I are a no no. I got stuck near these three huge women who wouldn't shut up, took off their slippers and kept eating for like 6 hours straight. AND sitting next to a guy who had a staring problem. As in staring problem at me. I figured it was the mohawk, and trust me, I'm used to stares. But this was RIDICULOUS. So I told him to take a nice long look and get it over with. He informed me that he has some 'genetic condition which makes [him] not blink for long periods of time.' I told him that's great, but stare somewhere else.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna drink some cough syrup so I can get some sleep. Sleep aids. Gotta love em.
Out.
