Alrighty. Good news and bad news. Good news: I think I finally have the design I want for my new vinoj.com site. It's gonna be a bluish color to give it a fresh and 'cool' feel to it, and the entire code will be written in CSS, making it pretty clean and easy for me to work with, and completely cross-browser compatible. (What does it mean to the average IE user? Absolutely nothing. But hey, it's a nerdy web developer thing. Gotta do it.)

Bad news: I have no idea how to do CSS2. At least the strict configuration of it all. csszengarden.com is going to be my closest ally through all of this, and i'll be trying to emulate all the code that I can find. It shouldn't become a project where I just copy/paste (where's the learning in that?), but I'll be relying heavily on other people, including my friends Casey and Jeff Clark. They're badass.

If you want to see the new design, it's at http://vinoj.com/images/web4.jpg .

The other strenuous task? Trying to get all the pages converted over to the new design. Since it's my own damn site and I don't have worry about a slew of visitors, I'm just gonna do the front page, then the other pages as I get time. No hurry here.
